What Lay Between Us

Welcome to OUR page. Here you can learn more about the three of us and our adventures as growing family. Some days are slower than others, but this one is just as important as the next. So enjoy. We certainly Do!

It's almost Spring and here it is snowing like crazy outside. I keep promising Miah it'll soon be warm, but i think she's beginning to doubt her mama and my weather predicting skill. I can't wait 'til we only have to wear one layer (or even none at all) when we dress in the morn. and for long walks unbundled and countless swings and splashes at the park. We were so eager last week. Dada had a day off and it was 11C and we strapped Miah in the new backpack and ventured out for a picnic. The picnic part didn't last long and truckin' through the snow (still above our ankles at the time) to get to the only clean and dry picnic bench was a challenge, but the swings were fun and the geese had come home and Miah, and us too, so enjoys the sights and sounds of Spring.

The next day we had a very nice visit with our friends (mamas and babes). They are all so big now. It's unbelievable how much they are like little people and not so much babies. They all played so well together. We even got them to sit still her a few minutes, if you can believe it, to take pictures and video. It's so nice to spend time with mamas going through the same things (Sue, so glad you understand what a little girl is like - hehe) and for Miah to have a bunch of friends so close in age and who she's known since birth, practically!

Then for St. Paddy's day we headed to T.O. for a shin-dig at uncles Mike and Frank's place. Miah is such a lucky girl to have so many loving and caring aunts and uncles. Not to mention how lucky Ty and I are to have such a wonderful (and no matter what) close-knit bunch of friends. We love you all so very much! Thanks for all the great time and keep 'em coming! We're so looking forward to summer, cottaging, our wedding, the birth of little Nozza and even more! So honoured to share our good time with you guys!
Well, I guess that says most of it...it was a busy week and a fun week!
Stay happy and healthy...and oh ya, I'm 0-12..Tim's is winning!

Bathtime Beauties!
These are my angels at bathtime.
I love so dearly these two of mine!
They are so sweet.
Not always so neat :)
But, they are so cute to me!
They make my heart ache with glee.
Because of their specialness you can see,
They are the greatest to me!
These angels of mine.
With whom I love to spend time,
They let me know that all is fine,
When I'm close to these darlings of mine!

I wonder what the chances are that I can actually win something this year. I love Tim's steeped teas and even enjoy its' coffee, but can't say I've enjoyed its' "Roll-up the Rim" contest for the past couple of years. I used to get excited when I first saw that first roll-up cup of the season. As a dedicated patron (and like many Canadians), when the contest came around, in years past, I'd tend to buy more than one Tim's hot drink per day, but not this year! Not after what happened to me last year! I concluded, by the end of the "contest" that i had won exactly, brace yourself...no free drinks, muffins, donuts...nothing. That's zero, notta, zilch! I had purchased what I calculated to be approx. 20-30 hot drinks during the buying spree and had received nothing in return. I was an absolute loser! My streak of bad "roll-up" luck has returned this year. I am, as of my last sip of today's tea, 0-2. Ty says he's even or more a winner than not...maybe he gets all our family's hot drink luck!!!
